We, the executive Management of Lateral Solutions, collectively state that it will be our policy to manage security operations by adhering to the following principles:

  • We will always conduct our operations in a manner which is respectful of Human Rights, minority groups, religious groups, and cultural and ethnic groups, in a way that will not negatively impact on their lives. We conduct operations with fairness, impartiality, and respect for all individuals.
  • We undertake to conduct our security operations in line with international best practice guidelines, international laws and treaties on security management, and within the framework of relevant legal parameters.
  • We will approach our security operations in a planned and structured way. We identify, assess, and mitigate security risks to protect our organization, clients, and stakeholders, with specific emphasis on identifying risks which may have an impact on Lateral Solutions and our clients. We work proactively to avoid, prevent, and minimize the impact of security incidents and disruptions.
  • The management of Lateral Solutions commits to ensuring that sufficient resources and training will be made available to ensure we are able to perform adequately in terms of the expectations and contractual requirements from our clients.
  • We will implement, monitor, and review our security operations activities, policies, and procedures, through audits, performance reviews, and stakeholder feedback to ensure that we continuously improve.
  • We commit to focus on developing and maintaining strong relationships with our external stakeholders, clients, and authorities alike, with our primary objective being to exceed the expectations of our clients. We communicate our policies internally and externally, maintaining strong relationships with clients, partners, and authorities.
